Job summary

BioLife in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to support plasma donor screening and collection operations. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, monitor donors, and ensure smooth center operations per training and procedures.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with tasks including setup, data entry, and equipment troubleshooting to maintain high-quality donor care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays will be worked.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasional heavier items.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal of materials.
• Record donor measures and enter data into the DIS system.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors via Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational improvements.
