Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Spartanburg, SC is hiring for a truly part-time Plasma Donor Screener and phlebotomy support role. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and help ensure donor safety while delivering high-quality customer service.

Expect evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, occasional lifting, and use of the Donor Information System. The position offers paid interactive training, a schedule that fits your life, and an hourly wage of $16.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work
• Lift up to 5 lbs, occasional 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens
• 1+ years in a customer/patient facing role is helpful

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety
• Screen donors, record vital signs and finger stick results
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and initiate changes
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
