Job summary

BioLife Plasma is seeking a truly part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomist. Shifts are typically 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week to fit your life, with availability confirmed early in the interview process.

Reliability during scheduled hours is valued as you support center operations. You will greet donors, screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs, and coordinate donor charts and compensation in the Donor Information System.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the duration of the shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift 5 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. (rarely 50 lbs).
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and focus on donor safety and service.
• Screen donors (new and repeat) and record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation in the Donor Information System.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and follow approved procedures.
• Support donors across a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
