Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in the United States (Richmond, VA) is seeking a part-time donor screener and phlebotomy support to help collect high-quality plasma while delivering excellent donor service.

You will greet donors, screen and record vital signs, and perform phlebotomy in a role that supports center operations and patient care. Evenings, weekends, and holidays are required to meet scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Lift up to 5 lbs., occasionally up to 32 lbs., rarely 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs.
• Perform donor screening and phlebotomy to support center operations.
• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Maintain donor charts and coordinate donor compensation using the Donor Information System.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements within approved procedures.
