Job summary

BioLife is offering a truly part-time Plasma Donor Screener role in Irving, TX. Shifts are typically 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with paid training to get you started.

You will greet donors, screen new and returning donors, record vital signs, and use the Donor Information System to keep charts and records accurate. The role requires a high school diploma, ability to stand for long periods, evenings/weekends/holidays availability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; prior customer-facing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk/stand for the shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• 1+ year experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and focus on donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain records.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and support changes.
• Work varying shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
