Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL. You will perform phlebotomy and donor screening to support plasma center operations, reporting to the Plasma Center Manager. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and reliability during scheduled hours.

Responsibilities include donor intake, vital signs, charting in our information system, and helping identify process improvements. Weekend and holiday shifts are required to meet donor needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand/walk for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and occasional heavier lifts.
• Customer- or patient-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and maintain donor charts.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes.
• Work varied shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
