Job summary

BioLife Plasma Center in Billings, MT is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener and phlebotomy support to contribute to center operations. You will screen donors, perform phlebotomy, and maintain donor records, reporting to the Plasma Center Manager.

Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, possession of mobility and fine motor skills, and prior customer or patient-facing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk/stand for the entire shift.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders/below knees.
• Lift to 5 lbs., occasional up to 32 lbs., rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety and service.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
