Penn State Abington seeks an engaging and dynamic candidate to fill a newly created opening as a Professional Physics Tutor. This role will work in the Chaiken Center for Student Success to provide tutoring in Physics to undergraduate university students. The tutor will also develop workshops, structured academic initiatives, and other collaborative opportunities that engage faculty, student organizations, and the campus community. The Professional Tutor will interact with faculty and staff to promote the services of the Chaiken Center and to ensure that tutoring services align with course objectives. The Professional Tutor will be responsible for maintaining records for each student tutored, such as Starfish Outcome Notes, Client Report Forms, Satisfaction Surveys, and other assessment measures.
Compensation: The starting rate for this job is $25/hour.
