Job summary

IOWA CITY HOSPICE, INC is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Home Health team. The PTA will work under a licensed PT to help patients regain mobility and improve quality of life in their own homes.

This role offers independent work with a supportive, collaborative team and opportunities to contribute to patient-centered care in a nonprofit home health setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.
• Licensed or certified as a PTA in Iowa in good standing is required.
• Prior clinical/home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Travel throughout Johnson County to patients' homes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient recovery.
