Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network seeks an experienced Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in outpatient settings. You will design individualized plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with healthcare teams to improve function and reduce pain.

The role includes supervising PTAs and PT/PTA students, contributing to quality initiatives, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to safety and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Doctoral, masters, or bachelor’s degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state Physical Therapy license in PA or NJ, per location.
• BLS/CPR certification required upon hire or within 30 days.
• Minimum 1 year outpatient physical therapy experience.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive initial evaluations and develops a treatment plan.
• Provides skilled interventions tailored to patient needs with appropriate techniques.
• Collaborates with patients to set short and long-term goals.
• Educates patients and families on prognosis and care options.
• Supervises PTAs and PT/PTA students as assigned.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows safety policies.
• Documents progress and outcomes in medical records.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• Cleans and orders supplies as assigned.
• Attends multidisciplinary meetings as applicable.
