Qualifications

• Doctoral/Masters/Bachelor’s degree from accredited PT program.
• BLS certification or equivalent.
• Current PA or NJ Physical Therapist license per work location.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial evaluations and develops treatment plans to improve movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
• Provides skilled interventions tailored to patient needs using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Collaborates with patients to set short and long-term goals and communicates effectively with patients and families.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the medical record and adheres to privacy and safety policies.
• Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants and PT/PTA students as assigned and participates in quality improvement activities.

Education

Doctoral Degree, Masters or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited physical therapy program or physical therapy certificate

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent

Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Pennsylvania or New Jersey

CPR certification
