Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate residents, design individualized treatment plans, and supervise PTAs in direct resident care. The role involves collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the broader health team to improve mobility, balance, and independence while maintaining accurate documentation.

The position requires licensure, continuing education, and the ability to educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home exercise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required; advanced degree preferred.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state; continuing education as required.
• Ability to input data into Net Health and Point Click Care systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine PT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise PT assistants and educate families and staff on goals and home programs.
• Document accurately in medical records and participate in care conferences.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
