Performs the most complex physical therapy evaluations and interprets findings; plans, implements, and coordinates all physical therapy treatment programs.
Assists with departmental orientation; serves as resource; may lead therapists and supervise para-professional staff.
Conducts in-service education programs for departmental and hospital personnel and community education.
Helps ensure quality care and patient safety.
Maintains accurate records and prepares written reports.
Prepares and presents clinical projects; may coordinate research.
May serve as Center Coordinator of Clinical Education for university PT programs.
