The position requires ASCP-certified phlebotomy and less than one year of applicable experience. Work days include Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday shifts, on site in the United States.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP) credential.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient samples using best practices for phlebotomy.
• Documents receipt of patient samples in Lab Information System (LIS) and prepares them for analysis.
• Communicates effectively with nursing and unit staff to relay information concerning patient collections.
