Saint Luke’s South location is looking for a Phlebotomist, Lab Support Technician to support our lab team. Collects patient samples using best practices for phlebotomy. Documents receipt of patient samples in Lab Information System (LIS) and prepares them for analysis. Collects patient specimens in accordance with laboratory's policy, procedures and regulatory standards. Uses education and experience to identify and resolve patient circumstances that might interfere with accurate sample collection. Communicates effectively with nursing and unit staff to relay information concerning patient collections.

Shift Details

Monday thru Friday 8am to 4:30pm with rotating Saturdays 8am to 12pm.

Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP) - American Society for Clinical Pathology
