Job summary

Saint Luke’s East location is seeking a Phlebotomist, Lab Support Technician to assist the lab team. You will collect patient samples using best practices, document receipt in the LIS, and prepare specimens for analysis.

The role requires less than 1 year of phlebotomy experience and ASCP certification. This is a part-time day shift based in Missouri, with duties spanning interactions with nursing staff and accurate specimen handling.

Job Description Saint Luke’s East location is looking for a Phlebotomist, Lab Support Technician to support our lab team. Job Description Collects patient samples using best practices for phlebotomy. Documents receipt of patient samples in Lab Information System (LIS) and prepares them for analysis.

Shift Details

Monday, Tuesday 6:30am to 5pm; Saturdays 8am to 12pm.

Collects patient specimens in accordance with laboratory's policy, procedures and regulatory standards. Uses education and experience to identify and resolve patient circumstances that might interfere with accurate sample collection. Communicates effectively with nursing and unit staff to relay information concerning patient collections.

Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP) - American Society for Clinical Pathology
