Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist (20 hours per week) at a client site in Skokie. You will perform venipuncture, processing of specimens, and order entry in multiple systems while delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification through a nationally recognized organization or CMA certification.
• Experience in phlebotomy, specimen processing, or EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and lab specimen collections per age-related standards.
• Demonstrates AIDET and optimizes patient safety.
• Receives and reviews physician orders; enters orders into systems.
• Maintains patient communication and post-phlebotomy care.
• Processes specimens to ensure stability and integrity.
