Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Nanuet, NY is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a part-time role, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM with rotational weekends. You will collect specimens, perform data entry, and support patient care in a fast-paced lab setting.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of phlebotomy experience, strong attention to detail, and reliable transportation. A high school diploma is required; medical training or phlebotomy certification is preferred, with

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
