Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in New City, NY, Monday–Friday 6:30 AM–2:30 PM with rotational weekends. The role includes specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to SOPs. Must have 3 years phlebotomy experience and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
