Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training in medical assistant or paramedic is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in CA/NV/WA).
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service setting helpful.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders by using lab systems and client communication.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitation, filing, phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training in a timely manner.
