Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, order verification, and maintaining logs. Requires high school diploma; phlebotomy certification preferred; relevant experience desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
