Job summary

BioLife is offering a part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomy role in Belton, MO. You will greet donors, screen them, record vital signs, and support center operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may include evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts. Training is provided, with a focus on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to walk/stand for the full shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift up to 32 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
• 1+ years in a customer- or patient-facing role helpful.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and staff safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System to maintain donor charts and records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities and initiate process improvements.
• Support a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
