Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener and Phlebotomy support professional in Independence, MO. You will engage donors via phones, screen donors, record vital signs, and utilize the Donor Information System to maintain charts and compensation records.

This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with training provided. A high school diploma and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
• Phlebotomy or donor-screening exposure is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs.
• Use Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and track compensation.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes per approved procedures.
• Work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
