Job summary

IVI RMA North America is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist for the Paramus, NJ location, with training starting in Englewood. Schedule is Monday–Friday 5:30am–11:30am, with rotating holidays and weekends.

You will draw blood for fertility-related tests and work with clinical staff to create a positive patient experience. Required is 3+ years venipuncture experience; MS Office proficiency and EMR experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' recent venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting — required.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program – highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients correctly.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection; label and centrifuge specimens.
• Store and transport specimens to maintain integrity.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Keep phlebotomy area clean and stocked.
• Reassure patients and ease anxieties.

Part-Time Paramus, NJ, US

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

IVI RMA North America is looking for a Part-Time Phlebotomist to work in our new Paramus location opening in the fall. Training will start off in our Englewood location. This is a part-time role working Monday-Friday from 5:30am-11:30am with rotating holidays and weekends.

This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Properly identifies patients.
• Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
• To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
• Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
• Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.

Academic Training:

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program– highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - required
