Everleap Fertility in Basking Ridge, NJ is hiring a Part-Time Phlebotomist to support our lab operations. This role requires drawing blood for diagnostic procedures and maintaining a positive patient experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of venipuncture experience in fast-paced settings, weekend availability, and proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office. Training is provided, and eligibility for benefits is offered for 30+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completion preferred.
• Certification in Phlebotomy preferred.

Responsibilities

Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant Part-Time Basking Ridge, NJ, US

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

Everleap Fertility has a need for a Part-Time Phlebotomist for our Basking Ridge location. We are looking for someone that can work every other weekend from 5:30am-11:30am.

This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Properly identifies patients.
• Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
• To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
• Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
• Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.

Academic Training:

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program– highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - required
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - required
