Job summary

The Institute on Aging (IOA) in San Francisco seeks a part-time Philanthropy Coordinator (20 hrs/week) to support major gifts, donor relations, and events. You will assist with gift processing, data management, and reporting, helping drive fundraising campaigns with the philanthropy team.

The ideal candidate is highly organized with CRM and MS Office experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a Bay Area nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Six (6) years in nonprofit fundraising or related field preferred.
• Strong project-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support VP of Philanthropy with proposals, presentations, briefings, and donor correspondence for major gifts.
• Assist with portfolio management and donor stewardship actions.
• Triage donor inquiries for Philanthropy Team; respond promptly to donors.
