Job summary
Corewell Health Watervliet Hospital in Michigan seeks a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team with medication preparation, packaging and delivery to patient care areas under supervision. The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma and must obtain licensure or eligibility in Michigan; CPHT/ExCPT is preferred.
Hospital IV/sterile experience is a plus. Shifts include day hours and every other weekend.
Qualifications
- Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Hospital experience preferred.
- Michigan pharmacy technician licensure or eligibility within specified timeframe.
Responsibilities
- Prepares supplies/medication under supervision of a Pharmacist.
- Packages medications into unit-dose packaging.
- Delivers medications and supplies to patient care areas.
- Maintains clean, organized work area and complies with licensure requirements.
