Job summary

Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, MI seeks a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support outpatient services and the Discharge Medication Program. Under direct supervision of a Pharmacist, you will prepare, dispense, and deliver medications, while managing inventory and patient communications.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, pharmacy tech licensure, and prior retail pharmacy experience. Shifts are weekdays, with daytime hours, offering patient-focused care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Associate's Degree.
• Retail pharmacy technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense outpatient prescriptions under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Deliver prescriptions to patients when needed.
• Triages phone calls and messages from patients and staff.
• Maintain inventory and handle controlled substances per policy.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
