Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient experiences. The role emphasizes following SOPs, maintaining compliance, and contributing to a compassionate store environment.

You will complete required training, obtain licensure as needed, and assist with immunizations, inventory, and customer interactions while working with a dedicated team across CVS locations.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education, licensure/certification
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot between tasks as needed
• Provide excellent customer service and teamwork
• Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues
• Perform accurate prescription labeling and safety checks
• Assist with inventory activities and deter pill shortages
• Be flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations and CVS policies for patient safety and privacy
• Deliver additional health care services where allowed by law and training
