Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service across store operations. You will assist with workflow, immunizations, inventory, adherence to SOPs, and help patients with questions, striving to create a positive, caring experience.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety.
• Customer service and team orientation in interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Communication skills for effective verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical reasoning to determine days supply and dispensing quantities.
• Problem resolution for patient or colleague interactions.
• Physical demands including lifting and moving items as needed.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
• Assist with immunizations and related responsibilities where allowed by law.
