Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, a part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy in Forest City, NC. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

The role offers part-time hours with 24 hours guaranteed weekly, mainly weekdays 8:00am-5:00pm, inside Clarvita building. Strong customer service and accuracy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in NC or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
