UnitedHealth Group's Genoa Mental Health Pharmacy in Chico, CA is hiring a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. 24 hours guaranteed weekly, with potential to flex to 40 hours, Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm.
The role emphasizes customer service, inventory management, order processing, and compliance with federal/state requirements.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted California Pharmacy Technician license.
- Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
- Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
- Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
- Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
- Verifies medication stock and updates inventory records in the computer.
- Assist the Pharmacist with pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
- Performs clerical duties related to the department.
