Wellstar Health System in Acworth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, compound, and dispense medications under supervision. You will demonstrate competency across dispensing, IV admixture, and ADC operations while adhering to USP and Georgia rules.

The role requires a high school diploma, Georgia licenses, and hospital pharmacy experience is preferred. 20 hours per week, day shifts, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PHT - Registered Pharmacy Tech; CPHT or PHARMINT preferred per hire.
• Licensed with Georgia State Board of Pharmacy in good standing.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred; basic tech operations knowledge.
• Basic computer skills, communication, and physical ability to lift 30 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, compound, dispense medications under supervision.
• Operate ADC system, restock meds and generate reports.
• Dispense IV admixtures and ensure aseptic technique.
• Repackage, label, and quality-check medications per procedures.
• Provide customer service to healthcare professionals and patients.
