Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to prepare, compound, and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision. You will perform IV admixtures, manage ADC operations, and ensure strict safety and compliance with USP guidelines.

Responsibilities include distribution, restocking, reporting discrepancies, and mentoring junior technicians. Requires GA licensure and hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician in Georgia (PHT) or eligible.
• Licensed with Georgia State Board of Pharmacy in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Distribute medications and prepare IV admixtures under pharmacist supervision.
• Operate the ADC system, restock and generate needed reports.
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure USP standards compliance.
• Train and mentor junior pharmacy technicians under lead staff.
• Perform monthly inspections and keep the pharmacy area clean.
