Job summary

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson in Clarksville invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Instructor for the Early Technical College Pharmacy Technology class. The instructor will deliver in-person theory and hands-on training to dual-enrolled high school students at the Clarksville Campus.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 1:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. (classes 2:30–5:30 p.m.) August through May; anticipated start date January 4, 2027.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Current nationally recognized Pharmacy Technician certification or ability to obtain certification within six (6) months.
• Prior teaching or evidence of ability to teach students a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person theory and hands-on skills instruction to dual-enrolled high school students.
• Monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; submit timely reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned; report to the Director of Healthcare Programs.
