Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist to join our Richmond, VA onsite team.

This 32-hour-per-week role will float at least one day per week among Petersburg, Farmville, and Williamsburg pharmacies, with hours across Mon, Thu, Fri 8:00am-5:00pm and Tue-Wed 8:00am-8:00pm; no weekends. Virginia licensed pharmacist and immunizer required; Bachelor's or PharmD; reliable transportation essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in state of Virginia.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become one within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
