Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of the Optum and UnitedHealth Group family, seeks a part-time Staff Pharmacist to process prescriptions at the NCSS site in St. Albans, VT.

This onsite role is 16 hours weekly, Mon-Fri 8:30am–5:00pm, with responsibilities including dispensing medications, counseling patients, administering immunizations where allowed, and ensuring compliance with state board regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in Vermont.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
