Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Richmond, VA is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with processing prescriptions. This onsite position will be scheduled 32 hours per week and will float at least one day per week between our pharmacies located in Petersburg, Farmville, and Williamsburg.

Hours are Mon, Thu, Fri 8:00am-5:00pm; Tue-Wed 8:00am-8:00pm. The role requires a Virginia pharmacist license and the ability to immunize (or willingness to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in state of Virginia.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
