Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an energetic District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist shifts across stores in the district, while supporting daily pharmacy operations and patient care. The DSP ensures safe dispensing, immunizations, and adherence to workflow and safety standards.

You will travel within a reasonable radius to staff markets as needed and may assume Pharmacy Manager duties when on duty, maintaining high levels of service and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values by supporting safe and accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and immunization practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts and oversee the pharmacy team.
• Assist in maintaining pharmacy workflow, inventory, and compliance with safety guidelines.
• Cover Pharmacy Manager duties when on duty to ensure patient care continuity.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to resolve insurance and medication issues for patients.
• Support immunization delivery and training of Pharmacy Technicians in immunization procedures.
