The Kroger Co. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Indiana. You will provide exceptional customer service in a safe, compliant environment and administer immunizations following standing orders and procedures.

You will review prescriptions, dispense medications, compound when needed, and ensure accuracy by verifying patient profiles and drug interactions, while supervising technicians and interns. The role requires adherence to all laws and ongoing licensing renewals.

Qualifikationen

• Must be licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
• Excellent Planning and Organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
• Self-motivated with Strong Initiative to achieve high standards/results

Aufgaben

• Provide exceptional customer service and professional nursing support while adhering to Kroger policies and ethics.
• Administer immunizations to customers following Kroger standing orders and procedures.
• Dispense medications to customers pursuant to prescriptions and laws, regulations and company policies.
• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and determine ingredients needed.
• Verify new medications against patient profiles to prevent drug interactions.
• Supervise and verify Pharmacy Technicians and Interns' work for accuracy.
• Follow all state and federal laws regarding licensing and renewals.
• Maintain quality assurance procedures and security of controlled substances.
• Promote safety programs and respond to recalls and safety protocols.
• Communicate information with department members and collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to support promotions and day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Fraud, Waste and Abuse (Medicare), and DEA procedures.
