Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Excellent Planning and Organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
• Self-motivated with Strong Initiative to achieve high standards/results.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a safe, clean environment.
• Administer immunizations following Kroger procedures.
• Dispense medications pursuant to prescriptions and regulatory standards.
• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and determine ingredients.
• Verify new medication against patient profile for interactions.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Interns for accuracy.
• Support promotions in consultation with Pharmacy Manager.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, DEA procedures and relevant laws.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
• Ensure proper safety, quality assurance and waste disposal procedures.
