Job summary

Southpoint Surgery Center in Durham, NC seeks a licensed RN to provide ambulatory surgical nursing care. You will monitor pre-operative patients, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians to ensure safe, efficient care.

Responsibilities include chart review, patient advocacy, and maintaining privacy and safety in a fast-paced center. Requires RN license and current BLS/ACLS certs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, develops and implements total nursing care for the pre-operative patient.
• Records and reports symptoms, reactions, abnormalities and changes in patients' conditions.
• Administers medications and treatments ordered by the physician.
• Cares for pre-operative patients and verifies chart accuracy.
