Job summary

Southpoint Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a busy ambulatory surgery setting. You will support pre-operative and post-operative processes, adhere to physician orders, and ensure patient safety throughout the care continuum.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, current BLS/ACLS certifications, and a commitment to high-quality, cost-effective patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, develops and implements total nursing care for the pre-operative patient.
• Records and reports symptoms, reactions, abnormalities and changes in patient conditions to appropriate persons.
• Administers medications and treatments ordered by the physician.
