Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services is seeking a PT Peer Specialist for Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS). The role supports clients with rehabilitation and recovery, working in a team that helps people living in apartments, shelters, or family homes across the South Shore.

Responsibilities include delivering peer counseling, crisis support under supervision, education for families, and outreach to ACCS clients.

Qualifications

• Experience as a consumer of mental health services is required.
• High School Diploma required.
• Peer Specialist Certification required within 6 months from date of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle required.
• Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation and support functions and assist in treatment.
• Provide education, support, and consultation to families.
• Provide crisis intervention under clinical supervision.
• Provide mentor and outreach services to ACCS clients.
• Provide peer counseling and support to validate clients’ experiences.
