Job summary

Children’s Specialized ABA in Voorhees, NJ seeks a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to assess, plan, and deliver evidence‑based OT services within an interdisciplinary ABA team. The role focuses on motor skills, sensory processing, self‑help skills, and adaptive functioning, aligning OT goals with ABA treatment plans and supporting families for carryover at home and in the community.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current NJ Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Certification from NBCOT is required.
• Experience evaluating and planning pediatric OT interventions.
• Knowledge of sensory integration and activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with the ABA team.
• Implement interventions to improve motor skills, sensory integration, and self-help skills.
• Align OT goals with ABA treatment plans in collaboration with behavior analysts.
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions to meet goals.
• Provide education and support to families for home/community carryover.
• Document sessions and maintain up-to-date client records.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss progress and plan changes.
• Offer OT training and consultation to staff on integrating OT with ABA.
