Job summary

Children’s Specialized ABA is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and deliver evidence‑based OT services. You will work within an interdisciplinary ABA team to support functional independence, motor and sensory goals, and adaptive daily living skills for children with autism.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current NJ OT license.
• NBCOT certification.
• Experience evaluating and treating pediatric clients within ABA-based teams.
• Knowledge of sensory integration and activities of daily living.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ABA goals.
• Implement interventions to improve motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive behaviors.
• Collaborate with behavior analysts to align OT goals with ABA treatment.
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Educate and support families to ensure carryover across home and community.
• Document sessions and maintain accurate client records.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss progress and plan changes.
• Provide OT training and consultation to staff within ABA programs.
