Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a part-time role in Pediatric Therapy. The candidate will evaluate neonate to adolescent patients, develop therapy plans, and document progress while collaborating with medical staff.

The position requires a New Jersey license, ACOTE-accredited OT education, and may prefer Pediatric Rehabilitation experience. NDT certification is a plus; 20 hours per week with one evening until 7:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Requires a masters or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Current New Jersey State license and registration in Occupational Therapy or eligibility.
• Previous experience preferred, especially in Pediatric Rehabilitation.
• Analytical ability, independent judgment, and strong interpersonal/communication skills.
• NDT certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and assesses neonate, pediatric and adolescent patients to determine level of function.
• Develops and implements age- and developmentally appropriate therapeutic programs and documents findings.
• Communicates and collaborates with Medical Staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Participates in clinical education programs and departmental program development.
• Practices in accordance with professional Code of Ethics.
