Job summary

Harmony Pediatric Therapy in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a part-time position at our Basking Ridge and Chatham locations. You will deliver daily OT sessions, create individualized plans, and coach families using evidence-based interventions.

The role requires NJ OT licensure or eligibility, a pediatric-focused background, and strong communication skills. We offer flexible scheduling and active collaboration within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in OT required.
• Current NJ OT license or eligibility/pending licensure.
• Prior pediatric OT experience preferred.
• Experience administering standardized assessments.
• Knowledge of pediatric diagnoses and conditions.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children reach potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily treatment sessions targeting individualized goals.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans by child’s age and needs.
• Use evidence-based OT interventions and conduct evaluations as needed.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans for optimal outcomes.
• Create and oversee home programs for families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient success.
• Complete daily documentation and maintain records within 24 hours.
• Educate and coach parents on strategies; participate in family meetings.
• Provide coverage for sessions and support ongoing professional development.
• Engage in ongoing CEU-based learning and implement new programs.
