Job summary

National University in Los Angeles seeks part-time faculty to oversee pediatric clinical site assignments for the BSN program. The successful candidate will teach at placement sites, provide timely feedback, and support student engagement and success while collaborating with the Academic Program Director.

Qualifications include an MSN, CA RN license, and active clinical or teaching experience in pediatrics within the last five years.

Qualifications

• MSN from a regionally accredited institution.
• At least one year of continuous clinical bedside nursing experience in Pediatrics within the last 5 years as an RN providing direct patient care, OR at least one year of RN-level clinical teaching experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead pediatric clinical sessions at placement sites.
• Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on assessments.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive student-centric learning environment.
• Complete required tasks on deadlines (grades, assessments, rubrics, grade appeals).
• Provide feedback to the course lead regarding course content.
• Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
• Some indirect patient care in skills/simulation labs.
