Job summary

Achieve Beyond is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists to support pediatric therapy across the NYC metro area, including Manhattan. You will provide direct ABA instruction, collaborate with a BCBA and fellow therapists, and share practical resources with families for home and community use.

Requirements include at least 2 years with special needs children (2–21) in supervised settings or enrollment in related programs; ABA experience is preferred, and completion of Achieve Beyond

Qualifications

• 2+ years working with special needs children ages 2–21 in a supervised setting.
• Currently enrolled in or completed undergraduate/graduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.
• Experience using ABA preferred.
• Successful completion of Achieve Beyond 20-hour classroom training and competency exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate with family members by providing debriefs and resources for home/community use.
• Collect daily data and organize child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families per regulations.
